i-assess provides an easy to use, yet powerful Web-based candidate and results administration program. This provides administrators a flexible approach to allocate students access to assignments.

Registration
You can allocate user permissions in several different ways. Candidates can be pre-regisistered on-line and a unique access token is allocated to each user to control access to assessments. You can register remote institutions, separate departments and classes and empower administrators at remote locations with various permissions for registering candidates for exams.

Results
Whether i-assess is running off-line or on-line, exam results are stored incrementally and, when online, sent to the central server. Should the connection to the server be lost during on-line exams, by pressing the refresh button in the Web-browser or by logging back on, the candidate returns to the last question they were working on. The system can also be used to register candidates at remote locations on-line but with the assessments run off-line on stand-alone PC's or on a LAN. Results can then be uploaded on-line at a later time. This allows the flexibility of the Internet to control exam security without the worry of unreliable Web connections.

Reports
i-assess coordinator provides reports and information on institutions, students and assessments. The information is stored in a SQL database and users can manipulate results to produce detailed analysis.
